Dr. Amit Saha (M.Sc, Ph.D.) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany, Surendranath College, Kolkata under The University of Calcutta. He joined this college in the year 2016 and has over sixteen years of teaching experience. He first joined Department of Botany, Banwarilal Bhalotia College, Asansol in the year 2005 which is a constituent college under The University of Burdwan. His areas of research interest are Ethnobotany, Medicinal plants and Microbiology. A teacher cum researcher, Dr. Saha has published fifteen research articles and book chapters in the journals and books of National and International repute and there are many to be followed. He has also given many oral presentations in various symposiums and attended many national and international conferences, seminars, webinars, lecture series and workshops. He is also a life member of the Botanical Society of Bengal, University of Calcutta.

Dr. Apurba Biswas is born and brought up in North 24 Parganas District, West Bengal, India. He has been awarded Ph. D. Degree by the University of Calcutta (CU), India under the supervision of Prof. Ashutosh Ghosh. Then, he joined as a Research Associate in the same laboratory. He completed his postdoctoral research from Yonsei University, South Korea under the supervision of Prof. Youn-Sang Bae. Then, he started working as a postdoctoral fellow under the supervision of Professor Xing Lu in the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. She completed her B.Sc in Botany in 2005 and M.Sc in Botany in 2007 with specialization in ‘Cell Biology, Molecular Biology and Plant Biotechnology’ from University of Calcutta. Dr. Roychowdhury completed her Ph.D. in Botany, thesis entitled-“Molecular and Phenotypic Stability in Ri-Transformed Organ Cultures and Plants of Tylophora Indica (Burm.F.) Merrill.” in the year 2014, from University of Calcutta. Dr. Harisadhan Ghosh completed his PhD degree from IIT Guwahati in 2010. He spent three years at Technion, Israel (2010-2013) and four years at Kyoto University, Japan (2013-2017) for his postdoctoral study. He worked in the research field of green synthetic methodology development, asymmetric metal catalysis, organocatalysis and carbohydrate chemistry. Prof. Jitendra Shreemali , is a graduate from IIT Madras with post graduate from IIM Bangalore. He is working as Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Techno India NJR Institute of Technology Udaipur. He has worked in reputed companies in India & abroad for about a decade and half followed by about two decades of academic/research/training experience. He has taught a very wide variety of subjects/courses including operations management, research methodology, and data science besides others. His areas of work include data science, optimization, mathematical modeling and machine learning and has about 40 research papers to his credit.

Dr. Prasanna Kumar Mondal, presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, Surendranath College, Kolkata, India. He completed his M.Sc. in Physics from University of Calcutta, India. He has done his Ph.D. research work in the Department of Physics of Bose Institute, India and he received his Ph.D. degree from University of Calcutta. Prof. Dr. Prasun Chakrabarti has received his PhD(Engg) from Jadavpur University in 2009. He is working as Provost and Institute Endowed Distinguished Senior Chair Professor, Techno India NJR Institute of Technology India. He has more than 230 publications, 11 books and 19 International granted patents in his credit. He has supervised eleven PhD candidates successfully. On various research assignments, he has visited Waseda University Japan (2012 availing prestigious INSA-CICS travel grant), University of Mauritius (2015), Nanyang Technological University Singapore (2015, 2016, 2019), Lincoln University College Malaysia (2018), National University of Singapore (2019), Asian Institute of Technology Bangkok Thailand (2019) and ISI Delhi (2019). He has obtained both of his BSc (Hons in Chemistry) in 2016 and MSc (Specialization in Inorganic chemistry) in 2018 from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College, Rahara under West Bengal State University. After that she completed MSc. in Zoology from Ballygunge Science College under University of Calcutta in 2007 with Cytogenetics and Molecular Biology specialization. She secured highest marks in his special paper and also passed the UGC-CSIR NET Examination with CSIR Junior Research Fellowship. She got her Doctorate degree from Department of Biochemistry and Zoology, University of Kolkata in 2017. She has many International publications on Cancer. She wrote a practical book (Zoology in Laboratory, Volume 1) which is based on recent CBCS syllabi of many Universities of Kolkata.
Dr. Subhas Chandra Bhat, is Assistant Professor in Chemistry (WBES) for 21 years at Government College of Education, Banipur, North 24 Parbana, West Bengal, India. Dr. Bhat did his Ph.D. in Chemistry in the year 2006 from C.U. He has also completed his 2nd Ph.D. in Education, in 2017 from C.U. He has successfully guided 44 Students for M.Phil. in Education from NSOU. He has published 10 research papers in Chemistry and 22 research papers in Education.
After completing her graduation from Presidency College, Kolkata with Honours in Chemistry, Suchandra did her masters from University of Calcutta with specialization in Physical Chemistry, followed by her doctoral research work at Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata on Photochemistry and Molecular Spectroscopy as a CSIR Fellow. Besides a doctorate degree, she has MBA(in Finance) qualification as well as a UGC(NET) certification. She has 14 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and post-graduation levels, with the students varying from general (honours ) to technical streams like B.Tech etc. She has published papers in several indexed national and international journals and has presented papers in several conferences.
